Counselling Therapy

Counselling therapy provides a space for clients to speak about their present challenges or goals and to work collaboratively with the therapist in order to reach desired outcomes. Clients may benefit through experiencing emotional support, new insights, helpful coping strategies, decreased psychological symptoms, deep self-reflection, learning how to effectively overcome or better live with their current problems, and improved relationships, including the relationship they have with their own mind, body, and emotions.

Sound Therapy

The benefits of Sound Therapy are based on the knowledge that the human energy field interacts (emits and receives energy) with other fields of energy, and that certain sound frequencies, melodies, and applications of sound can promote physical and emotion wellbeing. For example, resonant sound patterns, such as the perfect fifth, can create a sense of balance within the body and mind. Also, playing slightly different tones in each ear (binaural beats) can shift brain wave patterns into states that support increased focus and relaxation. Sound therapy activates the parasympathetic nervous system and creates/strengthens neural pathways, setting the conditions for inner healing. This type of therapy is offered as an integrative therapy for the counselling process, or on its own.
